Chuck Schlapp has been a practicing Certified Financial Planner™ for over 25 years. Chuck provides comprehensive financial services that coordinate tax planning, estate planning, protection planning, retirement income and distribution planning and investment planning. He strongly believes in educating and regularly meeting and communicating with his clients. He is dedicated to helping them improve their long-term financial success.
Chuck began his career as a Financial Consultant at Comprehensive Financial Management in Melville, NY. Several years later he joined Diversified Financial Management in Great Neck, NY as a Vice President. In 1991, Chuck founded Superior Financial Management in order to provide truly independent financial advice and services to his clients.
Chuck has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner™ Board of Standards to use the CFP® designation. He received his CFP® certification from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. He is a graduate of the University at Buffalo where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Chuck is a member of both the National and Long Island Chapter of the Financial Planning Association. The FPA is the largest membership organization for CFP® professionals in the US. FPA members adhere to the highest standards of professional competence, ethical conduct and clear, complete disclosure to those they serve.
Chuck is also a Past Distinguished President and the current Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Northport – East Northport, Inc., a local chapter of an international charitable organization.
When not serving his clients, Chuck is a dedicated family man who enjoys quality time and living life with his wife, Mary Margaret, and their four children, Allison, Carolyn, Maddie and Brian. He loves golf, traveling, rooting for his Giants and Mets and competing in a Rotisserie Baseball League.
